The facility operates under a physician supervision model with 75% hands-on MD involvement and accommodates a surgical case mix across multiple service lines. Anesthesiologist coverage is sought beginning December 1 on an ongoing basis to address staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department. Treman State Park, Taughannock Falls State Park, and the Corning Museum of Glass. The Carl Sagan Planet Walk, a 1-to-5-billion scale model of the Solar System spanning approximately 0.75 miles, provides an additional point of interest for clinicians on assignment. About the Clinician's WorkdayClinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model with 75% hands-on MD involvement during day shifts within an operating room setting, working 3x12 or 4x10 shifts. Call coverage is required; physicians take both first and second call, with second call rarely resulting in a physical callback, at a call ratio of 1:8. Weekday and weekend call are compensated separately through a flat rate structure. Board certification in Anesthesiology is required for all clinicians considered for this role, and all clinical documentation must be completed using the EPIC EMR system.
