Position Requirements Description Parrish Medical Center (PMC), a Parrish Healthcare integrated care partner, has been in continuous operation in the North Brevard area of Florida’s Space Coast since 1958 and has been designated by NASA as an official medical receiving facility. Today, PMC is an award-winning, nationally recognized 208-bed, five story, not-for-profit, public, hospital serving the entire North Brevard community with an array of wellness and healthcare services. No local taxes have been levied to support the hospital's mission since 1994. Total Rewards Salary: $500K Sign-On Incentives: $75K Comprehensive benefits package: • Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance • Generous paid time off • Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts • Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage • Loan repayment & training assistance available Case Assignments & Schedule • 13 weeks daytime and call, including weekends / holidays, 13 weeks daytime only, no call, 26 weeks off • Diverse surgical case mix including general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, neurology, vascular, endoscopy, urology, and outpatient procedures Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership Requirements M.D./D.O.
