About this position

Great Plains Health is a fully independent, not-for-profit, 116-bed Level III trauma regional referral center in North Platte, NE - 4 hours east of Denver and 4 hours west of Omaha on I-80, serving west-central Nebraska, northern Kansas and southern South Dakota. Join a hospital-employed anesthesia group of 3 MDs and 6 CRNAs. No medical supervision of CRNAs - CRNAs practice independently in Nebraska (MDs backup call only) and do their own cases, epidurals, spinals, central and arterial lines, and blocks (or will train). Bread-and-butter case mix with lots of OB; no CT surgery. EPIC EMR. Excellent work/life balance - schedule allows a week off every 6 weeks.
