MACMACPosition Requirements Description Non Call Taking Anesthesiologist opportunity in Syracuse, NY, in an area ideal for outdoor exploration at Crouse Health Hospital. Crouse includes the main hospital, and 3 ASC’s. You will find a collegial anesthesia environment as well as supportive working relationships with the surgeons and OR staff. The site has an excellent Anesthesia Tech support and Pre-Op Testing Center. Staff members work in a care-team model. No open heart surgeries. • Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department • Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures • Pre-anesthesia assessment • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition • Performance of clinical intervention as needed Requirements • M.D./D.O.
