Position Requirements Description Night float Anesthesiologist opening to practice with a collaborative team at UPMC Hamot, the regional referral hub in Erie, PA. The UPMC Hamot Medical Center is a regional tertiary-care medical facility, referral hub, and Level II trauma center based in Erie, PA. Here, the focus is on healing, health, high quality, and education. With over 400 beds, the hospital provides an extensive range of inpatient and outpatient services for the community. UPMC Hamot has almost 4,000 employees, including over 650 members on the medical team. The anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and surgeons at UPMC Hamot have an excellent rapport. Together, our team works in a care team model approach. Our care team model means that we focus on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence. One week on and one week off. • The OB coverage would be in-house at the Women’s Hospital only on Saturday nights from 7p-7a. • Ortho, neuro, general surgery, transplants, and OBGYN Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership Requirements • MD or DO from an accredited institution • Completion of Anesthesiology Residency • Board Eligible or Board Certified • Current medical licensure • ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable) UPMC Hamot Medical Center, $565K, $75K Sign on Incentive EEO Statement North American Partners in Anesthesia is an equal opportunity employer.
