The facility maintains organized perioperative programs supported by an established practice group of approximately 42 CRNAs. Locum tenens CRNA coverage is sought on an ongoing basis to address staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department. About the Facility LocationThe surrounding area offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of cultural, historical, and recreational attractions suited to diverse interests. Visitors may explore the South Carolina Aquarium, which houses nearly 5,000 animals and features a sea turtle rehabilitation center and touch tanks with marine life. The area is home to notable historic landmarks, including an 1808 property recognized for its architectural details and collection of 18th-century art, as well as the Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon and the Aiken-Rhett House. Outdoor recreation is available through local county parks, which offer nature walks, bird walks, and family-oriented programs. About the Clinician's WorkdayClinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day shifts within an inpatient setting at a level-one academic trauma center. The caseload consists of 3-5 cases per day across the facility's surgical service lines, serving patients of all ages. No call coverage is required for this locum tenens engagement. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required for all clinicians considered for this role.
