T.J. Samson Community Hospital is a roughly 196-bed independent acute-care hospital in Glasgow, the flagship of locally governed T.J. Regional Health, which employs nearly 1,300 people. It has operated for almost 100 years and provides surgical and anesthesia services to south-central Kentucky. As a community-owned system it recruits its own clinical staff directly rather than through a national anesthesia group.
