Marshfield Medical Center is the flagship hospital of Marshfield Clinic Health System and a Level II trauma center serving central, northern and western Wisconsin as a tertiary referral hospital. It offers advanced cardiovascular surgery, cancer care, neurosciences, orthopedics and high-acuity surgical services supported by the system's integrated research and education programs. The Department of Anesthesia uses a care-team model in which roughly 14 physician anesthesiologists share in-house call and work alongside CRNAs, handling both solo cases and team-based coverage across the operating rooms, cardiac suites and obstetric anesthesia.
