Seattle Children's Hospital is the pediatric referral center for the WWAMI region (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, Idaho), supporting all pediatric surgical and medical subspecialties from the neonate through young adulthood. Its anesthesia service is staffed through the UW School of Medicine Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine, with CRNAs and pediatric anesthesiologists providing care for children of all ages. CRNAs practice in a subspecialty pediatric care-team model and participate in teaching residents and SRNAs.
