One of the largest pediatric hospitals in the United States, located in the Texas Medical Center with additional North Austin and West campuses. Pediatric anesthesia is delivered by the Baylor College of Medicine Department of Anesthesiology, which employs both Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists and Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants who perform preoperative evaluation, intraoperative anesthesia, and postoperative care for children under anesthesiologist supervision. New graduates are supported through a dedicated pediatric onboarding program.
