WVU Medicine Weirton Medical Center is a 238-bed acute care hospital in the northern panhandle city of Weirton, now part of the WVU Health System. Its anesthesia team provides care across surgical suites, the endoscopy/GI suites, radiology special procedures, the cardiology lab, the emergency room, and labor and delivery. Anesthesia is staffed by the WVUHS/System Medical Group as an employed care-team practice combining anesthesiologists and CRNAs.
