Job Requirements Pain Management Physician – VA Medical Center Huntington, WV | On-Site | Federal VA Opportunity We are seeking a Pain Management Physician to provide on-site services at the Hershel “Woody” Williams VA Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia . The physician will provide comprehensive pain management services to an adult and geriatric veteran population in accordance with nationally recognized standards of care. Typical Case Mix Expected cases may include: Chronic neck and back pain Radiculopathy, spinal stenosis and degenerative disc disease Neuropathic and musculoskeletal pain Post-surgical and chronic pain syndromes Pain management consultations and follow-ups Epidural steroid and facet injections Medial branch blocks and radiofrequency ablation SI joint, trigger point and joint injections Peripheral nerve blocks Fluoroscopy-guided pain procedures Multimodal pain and medication management Exact case mix and procedures will depend on facility needs and physician privileges. Qualifications Board Certified in Pain Medicine/Pain Management through an applicable recognized board, including ABA, ABPMR or ABPM Current BLS Current ACLS Appropriate physician licensure and clinical credentials as required by the VA Submission Requirements Interested candidates will need: Signed LOI — provided by our team Current CV Board Certification BLS ACLS This is an excellent opportunity for a Pain Management physician interested in providing comprehensive care to the veteran population within an established federal healthcare system.
