WVU Medicine Thomas Memorial Hospital is a 266-bed acute care hospital in South Charleston, the flagship of the Thomas Health system that is now part of WVU Medicine. It provides emergency, surgical, cardiac (including cardiac catheterization), and rehabilitation care to the greater Charleston metro on the south side of the Kanawha River. Anesthesia is delivered by an employed physician-led care team pairing anesthesiologists with CRNAs across its surgical and procedural service lines.
