Ascension St. Francis Hospital is a full-service community teaching hospital on Milwaukee's south side and part of Ascension's southeast Wisconsin network. It provides 24/7 emergency care as a Level IV trauma center along with heart and vascular care, stroke care, orthopedics, cancer care, obstetrics and women's health, and family medicine residency training. Anesthesiology staffs the hospital's operating rooms, obstetric anesthesia and procedural areas under a care-team model that includes CRNAs and physician anesthesiologists.
