Northern Colorado Anesthesia Professionals (NCAP) is an independent, physician-owned, single-specialty anesthesia group founded in 1997 and based in Fort Collins, Colorado, with 100+ providers split roughly evenly between anesthesiologists and CRNAs. NCAP uses an anesthesia care-team model in which a supervising anesthesiologist oversees up to four CRNAs. At Poudre Valley Hospital, a UCHealth Level II trauma center in Fort Collins, the case mix includes general surgery, trauma, obstetrics, orthopedics and spine, neuro, GI, ophthalmology, and EP/cath lab work.
