The facility performs approximately 3,600 inpatient and outpatient surgeries per year and maintains established perioperative workflows designed to support quality anesthesia care delivery across multiple surgical specialties. Locum tenens anesthesiologist coverage is sought for weekend call beginning January 2027 on an ongoing basis to address a staffing shortage within the Anesthesia Department. Clinicians on assignment may explore state parks, river bluffs, rolling hills, and prairies that support hiking, biking, and wildlife observation throughout the year. Historical and cultural sites are found across the state, offering additional opportunities for exploration during time away from assignment. About the Clinician's WorkdayClinicians in this role will provide independent anesthesia coverage on a 24-hour call basis during weekend shifts within an inpatient hospital setting performing approximately 3,600 inpatient and outpatient surgeries per year. The surgical case mix includes orthopedic, labor and delivery, spine, gastrointestinal, gynecology, urology, cath lab, interventional radiology, bariatric bypass, and minimal vascular procedures. All clinical documentation is completed through EPIC EMR in accordance with established facility protocols. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required for all clinicians considered for this assignment.
