UM Shore Medical Center at Easton is the principal acute-care hospital of University of Maryland Shore Regional Health, serving the five-county Mid-Shore region of Maryland's Eastern Shore (Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne's and Talbot counties). It provides emergency, surgical, obstetric and inpatient services as the region's referral hospital. Anesthesia is delivered through a care-team model within the University of Maryland Medical System.
