Position Requirements Description Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) opportunity in Austin, TX where we have 300 days of sunshine a year! Austin Anesthesiology Group (AAG) offers a flexible schedule in various surgical settings. AAG provides anesthesia services for much of the St. David’s Health Care system in the Austin area. St. David’s Medical Center is home to the world-renowned Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute and St. David’s Neuroscience & Spine Institute and provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care. In addition to St. David’s Medical Center, our practice provides anesthesia services at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, South Austin Hospital, and Round Rock Medical Center and accompanying outpatient surgery centers. Our diverse group is composed of anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and CAAs who provide anesthesia services in a care team model; team members are exposed to a wide variety of complex cases. Our care team model means that we focus on everyone having a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping to deliver care excellence. Total Rewards Salary: based on years of experience: $200K - $260K Benefits: • Generous paid time off • Generous benefits package, including: • Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance • Flexible Spending Accounts / Health Savings Accounts • 401(k) • Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage • Leadership and professional development opportunities Sign on Incentive: $100K Responsibilities • Case assignments: Our practice covers the full range of specialties including general inpatient and outpatient cases, trauma, OB, neuro, EP and more. • Pre-anesthesia assessment • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition • Performance of clinical intervention as needed Requirements • Schedule: Flexible scheduling including 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts.
